Rooftop Revue is a live music series on a secret rooftop in The Junction (Keele and Dundas), Toronto, ON. We feature emerging and established artists from both Toronto, across Canada, and Worldwide. The series is BYOB and there are only 35 seats per show. As the shows take place at a private residence, the exact address will appear on the ticket confirmation page, and further details will be emailed to you two days before the show.
Emily Steinwall
Emily Steinwall (born January 17, 1995), is a singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist born and raised in Toronto, Canada.
Steinwall’s roots in Toronto’s music scene run deep; her grandparents and parents were all active members of the local live music scene. This organically grew into a full-time career as a gigging musician for local and touring acts.
Around 2017 Emily started to focus her energy more on songwriting and band leading, writing songs for her initial self-released album, titled “Welcome to the Garden”. Once described as “A Disney Princess on Acid” , this initial offering from Steinwall blends psychedelic rock, theatrical vocals and extended saxophone solos. It went on to receive the 2022 SOCAN songwriters prize. Steinwall’s sophomore album is currently in production and will be released later in 2025.
Claire Voy
Claire (Voy) Wright is a multidisciplinary artist and musician from Guelph ON. Her creative energy is currently being channeled into her project “SHEBAD” where she is the lead singer, guitarist, and writer for the indie-soul band. The themes she explores in SHEBAD and within her own personal writing lean into deep explorations of identity, friendship, nature, and service to music as a life affirming guide. In 2024 she released her debut album with SHEBAD titled ‘Music is the Answer’ which has garnered recognition from acclaimed Canadian music outlets such as CBC, Exclaim! and Spotify Canada. She recently returned from her first U.S tour dates with her band and has begun working on her sophomore album.
She hopes that through her art she can continue to uplift her community, create healing spaces for listeners, and help serve humanity on an individual and collective level.
