Deanna Petcoff and Lydia Persaud are both gracing the Rooftop Revue stage on Wednesday, August 26th 2026! Both of these artists are deeply rooted in the Toronto music scene and bring an undeniable energy to the stage.
Deanna Petcoff transcends genre to craft compositions that authentically capture the essence of love, grief, and crippling self-doubt, whereas Lydia Persaud’s voice combines Jazz, R&B and Folk to create soul music in its most literal sense.
Rooftop Revue is a live music series on a secret rooftop in The Junction (Keele and Dundas), Toronto, ON. We feature emerging and established artists from Toronto, across Canada, and Worldwide. The series is BYOB, and there are only 35 seats per show. As the shows take place at a private residence, the exact address will appear on the ticket confirmation page, and further details will be emailed to you two days before the show.
DEANNA PETCOFF
Deanna Petcoff, an accomplished Toronto-based musician, showcases her artistry and emotive storytelling through her captivating lyricism and bold vocal style. Inspired by a diverse range of influences, from Feist to Patti Smith, Petcoff transcends genre to craft compositions that authentically capture the essence of love, grief, and crippling self-doubt. Her debut album, To Hell with You, I Love You, was released in 2022 and was followed by standout performances opening for Hozier at the Danforth Music Hall, participating in SXSW, and a full US tour with Ireland’s Pillow Queens. She plans to release another album in 2026.
LYDIA PERSAUD
A fixture of Toronto’s music community, Lydia Persaud’s voice combines Jazz, R&B and Folk to create soul music in its most literal sense. Lydia’s colourful decade as a collaborator has featured her work in; folk trio ‘The O’Pears’, rock tribute ‘Dwanye Gretzky’, storytelling in ‘The Queer Songbook Orchestra’, and 90’s Country anthems with ‘Shania Twink’.
Her last album “Moody31” is described as,”Roberta Flack sitting in with Bill Withers’ band at a folk festival”. Lydia has opened for many artists including; Jann Arden and Martha Wainwright, as well as accomplished opening tours for STARS and Serena Ryder.
